Paul M. Duckworth, 77, of Summer School Road passed away peacefully Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home surrounded by family. Paul was born April 27, 1936 in Maryland. He was a son of the late Joseph and Lillian Tasker Duckworth. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked at Preston Memorial Hospital for more than twenty years. He adored his bird "Birdy" and loved spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Margaret Duckworth, a daughter, Angela Methany and companion Gary Orndoff of Waynesburg, PA, two sons and spouces; Paul and Diana Duckworth, and Brian and Delta Duckworth, and a stepson, Daniel Imoffer, all of Morgantown, four brothers; Arther Duckworth of Nashville, TN, Claude and Reba Duckworth of Wavery, TN, George Duckworth, and Gary and Kathy Duckworth, both of Kingwood; one sister, Myrtle and Terry Phillips of Rowlesburg, four grandchildren; Zig, Gregory, Alexis and Dustin Duckworth, all of Morgantown, a great-grandson, Brandon Marstiller, and a sister-in-law, Beverly Duckworth. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Adams and two brothers, Joseph and Delbert Duckworth. Friends and family will be received at the Nicholson Chapel Church from Sunday, February 9th at 5:00 PM until the time of the service on Tuesday, February 11th at 1:00 PM.
