Paul Eugene Paiva, Sr.

Paul E. Paiva, Sr., 65, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016, at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 3, 1950, the son of the late Leon Edward Paiva and Virginia Pearl Groves Paiva. Paul was known for his quiet manner and for being a nice guy. He enjoyed, target shooting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was the no-nonsense Ultrasound Inspector at Swanson Industries. Paul was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: Krystal Paiva, Paul Paiva, Jr; his grandson, Leon Paiva; his former spouse, Miyoung Schweiker all of Morgantown; his eight younger siblings and many other loved ones. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown on Thursday, February 25th from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 p.m. with Rev. Willard Rowan officiating. Inurnment will follow in the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown.
