Her faith was an important part of her life and she will be remembered serving faithfully as a greeter at Cheat Lake Community Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Cecil Allen Stone, whom she married January 1, 1961; three daughters, Melissa Ann Redding and her husband Pierre, and Malinda S. Hancock and her husband John, all of Richmond, VA, and Marie Ellen Owen and her husband Scott of Morgantown; two grandsons, Benjamin J. Hancock of Richmond, VA and Evan Scott Owen of Morgantown; one brother, Paul Marvin Kearns and his wife Nancy of Morgantown; and two nephews, Donald Kearns and Tony Martin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Jean Kearns.
