Pauline E. Trimble, 88, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Madison Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Morgantown on March 29, 1927, the daughter of the late Russell J. Dalton and Bertha Ellen (Walker) Dalton. She worked for several years at the Glass Factory in Star City and at the laundry department at the Ramada Inn. In her free time, she enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Ronald Dalton and his wife Tammy Jean of Morgantown, Marie Paulette Smith of Alabama, and George Dalton and his wife Penny of Marietta, OH; sisters, Almeda Trimble of Grafton and Dorothy Williams of Morgantown; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, John H. Trimble; brother, James E. Dalton; sisters, Lillian Foy and Betty Baker. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Monday, December 21st from 6-9p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 22 from 11a.m until the time of the funeral service at 1p.m. with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
