Percey Bell Gray

Percey Gray, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Mon Health Medical Center. She was born December 4, 1941 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late James and Ada (Shaffer) Uphold. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Don Gray.

She was an active member of Nicholson Chapel, where she taught Sunday School. She loved poetry, yard sales, and her flowers. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Percey leaves behind four children, Ada Wasco (David, Sr.), Donna Miller (Ronald), Doris "Tyne" Biagini (Jim Hodgson), and Donald W. Gray; grandchildren, Janice May, Bobby Reed (Rachel), David Wasco, Jr., Mary Wasco, Stephanie Wasco, Danny Exline, II (Brittany), Megan Exline (fiancé, David Thompson), Arlena Smitley, Cassandra Dunner (Dave), Betty Massey (Jason), George Winters (Ruddy), Samantha Gazda (Edward), Derwood Hodgeson (LaRae), Blade Gray; 32 great grandchildren; and sister, Phoebe Riffle.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by granddaughters, Ashley Gray and Alexis Tokosh; two brothers, and four sisters.

Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, 1346 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, on Wednesday, November 22nd from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Kenny Reed officiating.

Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
