Peter Francis Iyire

Peter Francis Iyire, 58, of Morgantown passed away April 26, 2014, at Monongalia General Hospital. Born August 26, 1955 in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria, Peter came to Morgantown in the late 1970's where he attended West Virginia University, graduating in 1983. Peter was recognizable by many in Morgantown for his long dread locked hair and distinctive colorful dress. Friends knew him as a vivid storyteller, music lover, skilled percussionist, and avid soccer fan. His incredible wit and infectious laughter will be sadly missed.
