Ralph Edward Kyer

Ralph Edward Kyer, 73, of Morgantown, died Monday, June 10, 2024 at his home. He was born January 16, 1950 in Morgantown, a son of the late Arthur and Kathleen (King) Kyer. He was also preceded in death by his spouse, Charlotte (Chipps) Kyer.

Ralph was a carpenter by trade and also worked for many years as a volunteer fireman. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and playing pool.

He is survived by his children, Melissa Kyer, Jennifer Kyer, Jason Kyer, and Brian Kyer; and grandchildren, Troy Dalton, Katrina Kyer, and Autumn McCourt.

In addition to his parents and spouse, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Kyer and Frank Kyer.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, June 14th from 12:00 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Cemetery in Cheat Lake.
