Rebecca Chance

Rebecca Chance, 54, of Healthy Heights Village, Morgantown, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at her home.Rebecca was born in Morgantown on September 7, 1955, the daughter of the late Thomas and Gloria Hilling Gorbey.She enjoyed fishing, camping, puzzles and taking care of her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Calvin S. Chance, her sons, Tommy Chance and Kerry Chance grandchildren, Kyle, Emma, Maeghan, Matthew, JJ, Austin, Brandon, Heather, and Eliza beth sisters, Lori Fortney and Donna Wright and brother, Clyde L. Hilling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Sheridan and Ellen Chance, her aunt, Dora Jean Hilling, her grandmother, Cora Hilling and her grandfather, Clyde Hilling.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 1-3pm on Tuesday, June 22. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 3pm Tuesday, with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home following the service.
