Richard Kisner

July 24, 1934 — August 31, 2013

Richard Blake Kisner, 79, of the Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013. He was born in Terra Alta on July 24, 1934, a son of the late Walter and Myrtle Kisner. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Pauline Kisner; a daughter, Pam Stasia and husband Sam of Morgantown; a grandson, Ryan Stasia, his fiancée Darla Hull and her son Kyle of Buckhannon; and siblings, Patty (Jack), Larry (Renne), Johnny (Betty), Jimmy (Dottie), Bobby and Amy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Donald, Prentice, Bill, Wilma, Dottie, Maxine and Mary. Mr. Kisner was employed for 34 years at the Chico Dairy, and 10 years in the WVU Food Service and Maintenance Departments. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Tuesday, September 3rd from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday, September 4th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service with Reverend Francis Craker officiating.
