Rita Rowe

Rita Ingrid Rowe, 60, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Rita was born in Welch, WV on December 20, 1952, a daughter of Emma (Wilburn) Jones of Princeton, WV and the late Raymond Jones. There was never a single person that crossed Rita's life who didn't instantly become like family to her, and she was the strong tie that held her family together. Survivors include her children, Richard Arlen Rowe, Jr. and his fiancé Kathern Friend of Shriver, WV, and Jaime Lee Rowe and her husband David Vest of Cassville; one grandchild, Ember Arlen Rowe Vest; and her siblings, a twin brother Phillip Kenny Robinson and his wife Joyce of Gilbert, WV, Abbie May Rowe and her fiance' Lee Roy Blevins of Princeton, WV, Brenda Venable and her husband Jeff of Princeton, WV, Albert George Jones and his fiance' Patty of Spencer, WV, and Shelby James Jones and his wife Terri of Columbus, OH. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Arlen Rowe, Sr.; two brothers, Robert and Billy Jones; and a special nephew, Sgt. Dennis Rowe. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Sunday, January 27th from 2-4 PM ONLY, and again on Monday, January 28th from 12:30 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM.
