Robert Croft

Robert C. Croft, 89, Morgantown, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Madison Nursing & Rehab of Morgantown, WV. He was born in Sandy Plains, PA on December 25, 1924, the son of Henry Curtis and Donna Mae Porter Croft. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Dorothy Slates Croft of Morgantown; three children, Linda Bongiorni and her husband David of Hermitage, PA, Cathy Bierer and her husband Scott of Morgantown, and Gary Croft of Salt Lake City, UT; one brother, Charles Croft of Washington, PA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Croft is also preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers. In keeping with Mr. Croft's wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. A memorial service will be held at the Cheat Lake United Methodist Church, 750 Fairchance Rd., Morgantown, WV on Friday, March 7th at 11 AM with Rev. Krysta Rexrode Wolfe officiating.
