Robert Edward Fisher Jr., 62, of Grafton Road, Morgantown, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at his residence.Robert was born in Morgantown on December 13, 1948, the son of the late Robert Edward and Genevieve Morgan Fisher.He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge #10 where he was a past Grand Master, a member of the Harmony Rebeka Lodge #51, and also served in various branches of the I.O.O.F. lodges throughout the state of West Virginia. Mr. Fisher served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. He owned Fisher Body and Auto Repair. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Haddix Fisher a daughter, Victoria Fisher his aunts, Catherine Thewlis and her husband, Bob, and Evelyn Lemley a brother and sister as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home 153 Spruce St., Morgantown from 4-7pm on Sunday, February 20th. The I.O.O.F. Lodge #10 will conduct a Memorial Service at 5 PM Sunday afternoon in the funeral home during visitation hours. Visitation will continue at the funeral home from 12noon until the time of the funeral service at 1 PM Monday, February 21st. with Rev. Sherman Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Morgantown.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robertâs memory to American Cancer Society, Monongalia Unit, 122 S. High St., Morgantown, WV 26501.
