Ronald Harrison Cribbs

Ronald Harrison Cribbs, 67, of Morgantown passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born in Kermit, Texas on April 29, 1957, a son of the late William and Mildred (Durr) Cribbs.

Ron graduated from high school in Roswell, New Mexico. After college he began a long career in law enforcement with various police departments, correctional facilities, and federal agencies across the country.

He enjoyed watching fantasy movies, reading Stephen King novels, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, and cruising on his Harley, but most of all he was happy spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his children, Christie Tackett and John Britt III; grandchildren, Alexus Waugh (Brinkley Tackett) and Chandler Camerer (Sidney); great grandson, James Tackett; and his significant other, Crystal Barr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Delores Cribbs; daughter-in-law, Linzi Britt; and granddaughter, Cheyenne Camerer.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hastings Funeral Home.
