Ronald Vance Kelley, 78, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown, WV. He was born in Morgantown on July 19, 1936, the son of the late Ralph Kelley and Alma (Hooten) Kelley. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a Veteran of the United States Army, and a retired Coal Miner. Mr. Kelley is survived by his daughters, Gina Eddy and her husband Chip, Ronda Barberich and her husband E.J.; stepdaughters, Penny Hines and her husband Mike, Robin Smith and her husband Mike; three sisters, Virginia Justus and her husband Art, Marion Wolverton, and Verna Lewis and her husband Jim; grandchildren, Alicia, Robbie, Johnny, Roni, Thressie, Dyllan; and one great grandson, Caleb. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dianne Kelley; his second wife, Sandra Kelley; and his brothers, Eugene and his wife Betty, Warren, Kenneth, and Ira; and brother in law, Lloyd Wolverton. In keeping with Mr. Kelley’s wishes, cremation services will be provided by Hastings Funeral Home in Morgantown. Friends and family will be received at the Hastings Funeral Home on Sunday, November 30th from 1 PM until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 PM with Reverend Karen Tate officiating.
