Rose Murray

Rose Murray, 89, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Sundale Nursing Home. She was born July 18, 1934 in Weirton, WV, a daughter of the late Augustine and Nancy (Aloi) Marino.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Leland John Murray.

Rose loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Murray and his wife Reshel; daughter, Lisa Johnson and her husband Jeff; sister, Frances "Fran" Marinich; grandchildren, Garrett Murray and his wife Allison, Carter Murray, Heather Kleckner and her husband Derrick, Courtney Ransom and her husband Eric, Robert Eloi, Jr., and Kristen Ann Johnson; great-grandchildren, Blair Mae Murray, Nicholas Kleckner, Aviana Kleckner, Brooklyn Kleckner, Rylan Kleckner, Carson Ransom, and Eli Ransom. She was also excited about a new great grandson coming in May.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Thursday, January 25th from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Rick Shriver officiating.

Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
