Roy Stephen Danley, (Junior), 86, of Old Kingwood Pike, Morgantown, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Morgantown on June 12, 1927, the son of the late Roy Stephen Danley, Sr. and Fannie (Blosser) Danley. Roy was a true family man, never missing a game of his grandsons, traveling hockey and baseball teams. He loved many outdoor activities especially hunting and gardening. Another past time Roy cherished was spending time with his wife and family. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at McDonalds and Hardees breakfast meetings. He was a wonderfully loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Erma Danley; his two children: Mark Danley and wife Debbie, and Sheila Danley Bolyard and husband Jay; four grandchildren: Eric Danley, Chad Danley, Kylie Bolyard, and Traci Bolyard; and one great grandson Jakob Bolyard, all of Morgantown. He is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, Thursday, Feb. 13 from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Feb. 14 from 1:00p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Haring.
