Russell Paul Dayton, Jr., 66, of River Rd., Morgantown, (Everettsville) passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his residence.Russell was born in Fairmont on November 20, 1945, a son of the late Russell Paul Dayton and the late Catherine Margaret (Jackson) Dayton.Survivors include his three children, Diana Renee Savage and husband Tim of Morgantown, John Kevin Dayton and wife, Virginia of Massillon, OH, and James Russell Dayton of Morgantown five grandchildren, Catherine Renee and Kevin Patrick Norman, Randall Paul Newbraugh, and James Trenton and Irene Renee Savage one great-grandson, Randall Paul Newbraugh, Jr. and one step-brother, Rusty Dayton of Florida.Mr. Daytonâs family is honoring his wishes for cremation to take place. No services are planned, and his ashes will be scattered privately at a later date.Hastings Funeral Home of Morgantown is in charge of the arrangements.
