Ruth Ann Brown Shade

Ruth Ann Brown, 55 of Morgantown, WV passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital. The daughter of Gary Allen Brown and Lola Jean Shaffer Brown, she was born December 7, 1965 at St. Vincent Pallotti Hospital in Morgantown, WV. Ruth attended Morgantown High School and enjoyed fishing with her husband, embroidery, genealogy, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Edward “Pete” Shade, whom she married May 27, 2000, she is survived by two sons and their spouses: Chad and Kristen Shade, and Isaiah Shade and fiancé Amanda Faulknier; a daughter, Jeanie Brown; stepson Zachary Wilson; a sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Cliff Jackson; grandchildren Valory, Kayden, Madechai, Marianna, and Ava Shade; Andrew and Grace Jackson; and many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Gary Allen Brown & Lola Jean Shaffer Brown; niece Angel Jackson; sister-in-law Eva Shade; and brother-in-law James Shade. Private family services will be held at Hastings Funeral Home with Reverend Wesley Dobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Halleck Cemetery.
