Shirley Ann Hebb

March 16, 1941 — February 4, 2024

Shirley A. Hebb, 82, of Tyrone Road, Morgantown went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 4, 2024, at Mon. General Hospital. She was born on March 16, 1941, daughter of the late Adam J. Cayton and Dorothy Bigler Cayton.


She was employed by Royal Crown Cola Bottling Company, Sterling Faucet Credit Union, and West Virginia University, from which she retired in 2003. She then joined the Mon General Hospital Volunteer Services and Auxiliary.


She loved and enjoyed being a part of The Morgantown Revival Center Church. She was a Sunday School teacher, youth leader and belonged to the CWA women's group.


She is survived by a brother and spouse, Roy and Gracella Cayton, of Morgantown, a sister-in-law, Alicia Cayton and brother-in-law, David B. Cady, of Morgantown, one son, James Lyons, three step children, Tammy David, Cheryl Wager and L.J. Hebb, and several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Loman J. Hebb Jr., three sons, Robert Lyons, an infant, Mark Lyons, Stephen Lyons, two brothers, Charles and Paul Cayton, three sisters, Mary Cayton, Brenda Landers, and Ruth Cady, one brother-in-law, Neal Landers, and one sister-in-law, Edna Cayton.


A private graveside service will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens for family and friends with the Rev. Brady McDonald officiating.
