We are sad to announce that Terry Ray Hilling, Sr., 67, of Morgantown passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022 at his residence. He was born on May 6, 1955 in Morgantown, son of Patricia (Young)Hilling Nicholson (Jake )and the late Rev. David J. Hilling.
He worked as a mechanic at In and Out tire for several years. Besides spending time with his family, Terry loved watching wrestling and softball games. Terry had a bright and ornery personality. He never knew a stranger no matter where he was and would help anyone who needed it. He was always the life of the party.
Terry was loved and cherished by many people, including his parents, Patricia (Young) Hilling Nicholson( Jake); his children, Terry Hilling, (Carla) Minnie Boles, (Shane) his grandson, Carson Hilling; his siblings, Larry Hilling (Barbara) Rebecca Whaley (Randy),Debbie Hilling, Lynn Hilling, and Stephanie Hilling. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, Rev. David Hilling, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, David Hilling; nephews, George and Joey McMillan and grandparents.
Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, Summers School Road, Morgantown, on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4 – 8 pm and to continue on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 11 am with Pastor Kenny Reed officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery with full military rites.
