Theodore George Lazzelle

Theodore George “Ted” Lazzelle, 86, of Morgantown, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at home. He was born May 30, 1929 to the late Dent and Martha Belle Lazzelle. Theodore served in the United States Army. He worked at Wilkins Motors and Jo Moore’s Exxon. He is currently retired. Theodore was an avid Steelers fan and he loved playing music back in the day. He played guitar and fiddle. He loved his fur baby husky wolf; he collected all kinds of wolf things. His favorite places were Dollar General, Walmart, and sitting on his porch swing listening to old country music. He left behind two sons: Dave Lazzelle and a companion Donna, and Art and Carolyn Lazzelle; two daughters: Amy and Bobby Bacorn, and Virginia and Don Cutright; grandkids: Mike Lazzelle, Brian Cutright and companion Jennifer Cale, Carmella and Eric Meadows, Jennifer McCormick, Joyce and Dave Dezzutti, Justin Lazzelle and companion Carrie, and Shane Lazzelle and companion Michelle; great-grandkids: Jason McCormick, Austin and Chase Cutright, Tyler Cutright, Brooklyn and Logan Meadows, Isabelle and Nicole Lazzelle, and Khloe Lazzelle; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Victoria Lazzelle; his son, Theodore Lazzelle, Jr., and his mother and father; maternal grandparents; paternal grandparents; seven sisters and four brothers. The family would like to wish a special thanks to Hospice Care and Brittany Dalton. Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Thursday June 25, from 4-8 p.m. and again on Friday, June 26, from 10 a.m. to the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
