Theodore Robert Hastings

Theodore Robert Hastings, 12, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his home. Theodore Robert was born in Valdosta, GA on October 10, 2002; the son of Timothy Scott Hastings and Jennifer Marie Hastings. He was a member of Casey’s ATA Black Belt Academy, where he received his 1st Degree Black Belt. He also was a 2014 West Virginia State Champion in sparring and forms. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Samantha Lynn Huckabee and niece Amelia Michelle DelaCruz; paternal grandparents, Robert Miller Hastings, Sr., and Carol Suzzanne Hastings; James Pearl Moore and Linda Kay Moore; maternal grandparents, Vickie Dawn Wentz, Michael Dean Mooney and Candance Kathleen Mooney; aunts and uncles, Theodore P. Wentz, Jr., Michael D. Wentz and wife Donna, William J. Wentz and wife Tammy, and Robert M. Hastings Jr. and wife Violet; cousins, Daniel G. Wentz, Jonathon Wentz, Sarah Tester, Kelly Craigo, Kimberly Beverly, Kaitlin Fic, Rebecca Hastings and Christina Hastings. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Theodore Phillip Wentz, Sr., and his aunt, Adeline Rose Wentz. Family and friends will be received at the Kingdom Evangelical Methodist Church, 540 Fairmont Road, Westover, on Tuesday, May 5, from 4-8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor C.
