Tristan James Sine

Tristan James Sine, 20, of Bruceton Mills, passed away Friday, July 7, 2023 at his home. He was born May 21, 2003 in Buckhannon, a son of Marty Sine and his wife Tania and Rebecca Gordon and her husband Tim.

He is a 2021 graduate of Preston High School, attended Fairmont Senior High School and was currently enrolled in nursing school at Fairmont State University. He was employed as a transporter at WVU Medicine.

Tristan was full of life. He enjoyed his dogs, Sadie, Roxy, and Ginger and cat, Pickles. He loved gaming, hunting, fishing, movies, rollercoasters, and hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by paternal grandparents, James and Cathy Stewart; maternal grandparents, Tom Jacobs and his wife Janet and Joy Jacobs; step grandparents, Jay and Zona Harris; siblings, Austin Sine, Lillian Gordon, and future baby boy Sine; aunts, Jessica Nay and Jennifer Minear; uncle, James D. Stewart and family; and a large extended family. He is also survived by many friends, including special friends Noah and Kyah Bernacki and Mason Strawser.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Monday, July 17th from 4-8 PM and again on Tuesday, July 18th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Larry Buckland officiating.
