Valerie Lynn May

Valerie Lynn May, 62, of Morgantown passed away at her home with her husband by her side on Sunday, January 24, 2021, which was their 28th wedding anniversary. She was born July 28, 1958 in Parsons, WV the daughter of Carmen Nestor Beery of Morgantown and the late Bobby Price Beery. Valerie was a homemaker and a very accomplished cook and baker; she was an avid movie fan, loved doing puzzles, and enjoyed her time with her three cats and Taco the dog. In addition to her mother she is also survived by her husband, David Allen May; sister, Elaina Zitney (John); brothers, Tim Beery (Debbie), Travis White; her niece, Lindsey Sphar (Matt); nephews, Jason Everett (Tressa), Tyler Everett (Gretta), Erin Everett; mother and father-in-law, Nora June and Sheridan May; sister-in-law Beverly Salisbury (Richard); brothers-in-law, Dwayne May (Robin), Sheridan May and Thomas May.
