Virginia Dinardi

Virginia Gentile Dinardi, 86, of Morgantown, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2012, at her residence.Virginia was born on February 25, 1926, in Morgantown, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Esposito Gentile. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She graduated in 1943, from Morgantown High School. She was part owner of Fashionable Shoe Store for over 10 years, and was a bookkeeper of the Floradora Dress Shoppe. Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Sylvester Dinardi, son Peter D. Dinardi, Sr., and wife, Rheba, grandson, Peter David Dinardi, Jr., granddaughter, Keirsten Dinardi, daughter-in-law, Judith Dinardi and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Johnny and Frank Gentile and sisters, Helen Barill, Mary Slate and Rose Furguiel. Family and friends will be received at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, Star City, on Wednesday, April 11, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A scriptural wake service will be held at 7:30pm Wednesday, to conclude visitation. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 12, from 10-11 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with Fr. John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Maryâs Peace Garden Mausoleum, Star City.
