Virginia "Sally" Wolfe

Virginia "Sally" Wolfe, 83, of Morgantown, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center.

Virginia was born on November 18, 1940, the daughter of the late Alma and Goldie Maxon.

Virginia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints all of her life and would argue with anyone who would contradict her on her faith. She worked as a waitress at Ruby and Ketchys for many years. She loved being a waitress and always talked about getting another job as a waitress well into her 70's. She loved babies, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and she could tell the best scary stories around. Virginia will be loved and missed by all. She always left a lasting impression with everyone she knew.

Virginia is survived by her son, Aaron (Valarie) Wolfe; daughter, Nancy (Randy) Cottrell; grandchildren, Michael; Caressa; Ashely; Amy; Anna; Deadra; Wendy; Bryan II; Alisha; Randy; Destiney; Aaron, Alexis and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Nicholas; Mikey; Colby; Nathan; Cora; Grace; Lydia; Briley; Jaxon; Olivia; Finely; Daisy; Violet; William; Phoeba; Mavis; Evelyn; Alex; Isaac; Christian; Brandon; Andrew and Christopher; two sisters-in-law, Linda Maxon and Karen Webb; brother-in-law, Robert Wolfe and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Harry Gene Wolfe; son, Bryan; brothers, Joseph; Jack; Paul; Spike; Buck and Bob; sisters, Alma, Julia, Geraldine and Nancy; and many brothers-in-law and sisters in law.

Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel, 1346 Summers School Rd, Morgantown, WV 26508 on Friday, January 12, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Nicholson Chapel on Saturday, January 13, from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Bishop Mathew Hart officiating. Interment will follow at Nicholson Cemetery.
