William George Margelis

William George Margelis, age 67, of Odessa, Florida passed away on September

7, 2023.

He was born September 12, 1955 in Washington, DC, a son of the

late Peter and Georgia Margelis.

In addition, he is also preceded in death by Mary Lynn (Sasso) Margelis.

He worked in the hospitality industry for many years and in his free time enjoyed DIY home improvement projects.

He is survived by his son, William Peter John "P.J." Margelis and his wife Jane of Florida; granddaughter, Mary Sophia "Sophie" Margelis; siblings, Mary Margelis Whalen and her husband, Dennis, Peter Margelis and his wife Erin, and George Margelis; nephews, Brandon Whalen and John Margelis. He is also survived by Boo Boo the dog.

Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM- 12:00 Noon.

Following the visiting, all are invited to Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover for a graveside committal service.
