William Ray "Billy" Park

William Ray "Billy" Park, 54, of River Road, Morgantown, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Bill went home to be with our Lord after a long illness. He was born in Morgantown on July 17, 1959, the son of Mary Louise (Farrell) Park of Jacksonville, FL and the late William Ray Park. He was a member of Local 152 Plumbers and Pipefitters, a skilled welder and carpenter who loved to hunt and fish. In addition to his mother, Mary, Bill is survived by wife, Cheryl; his son, Jason; and three sisters Diana, Joyce, and Debbie Billy was a gentle and giving soul, and he will be deeply missed. In honoring Billy’s wishes, he will be cremated. Family and friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Saturday, April 26th from 1 PM until the time of the memorial service at 2 PM with Father Jeremiah Lange, OSB of St. John University Parish officiating. Inurnment will take place privately at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover. Billy’s family would like to thank Ruby Memorial Hospital for their outstanding compassionate care.
