Zackery Warren Jemley

Zackery Warren Jemley, 15, of Vandalia Rd., Morgantown, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Morgantown on October 31, 1998; a son of Lisa Marie Simpson and Ronald Jemley. Zack lived and made his home with his Mother and Step-Father, Brett Simpson. In addition to his parents, survivors include four siblings, Aleah Kennedy, Reid Simpson, Lacin Jemley and Camen Jemley; and his maternal grandparents, Lyle and Nancy Matthews of Morgantown. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jeffrey Phillippi. Zack was a freshman at Morgantown High School, where he played football and also played basketball with the community league. He loved being in the outdoors and fishing, and also enjoyed drawing and listening to all types of music. Zack was a very caring young man with a great sense of humor. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Thursday, May 29th from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, and again on Friday, May 30th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Bill Walker officiating.
