Philip Patrick Hickman, 46, of Bridgeport WV passed away unexpectedly on November 10, 2012 at his residence on Corbin Branch Road, Bridgeport. Born March 14, 1966 in Clarksburg WV he was the son of Paul E "Perk" Hickman & Patricia "Patti" Ashcraft Hickman who survive on Corbin Branch Road. Also surviving are his brother Paul E Hickman II and wife Leslie of Clarksburg WV and his sister Sharon Helton of Vandalia OH his maternal grandmother Alice Walker Ashcraft Hall of Bridgeport two nephews Adam John ""AJ"" Helton of OH and Logan Paul Hickman and wife Megan of Fairmont WV and one niece Whitney Hickman also of Fairmont. Phil was owner/operator of Gym One Gymnastics in Clarksburg for several years and taught, coached and choreographed numerous cheerleading squads and competition routines. Preceding him were his maternal grandfather Lester B. Ashcraft & his paternal grandparents John Allen Hickman and Bina Bennett Hickman, all of Clarksburg. He attended Grace Baptist Church, Oral Lake Rd., Bridgeport., where a Memorial Service is planned for Saturday November 17, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Vaughan, officiating. In keeping with his wishes he was cremated. He will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him & his vibrant personality & legacy will live on in our hearts.
