Obituary of Annabelle Roby

Annabelle Roby, 76, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.Annabelle was born in Stonewood, Harrison County, WV on May 1, 1935, the daughter of the late Sam and the late Mary Tenda Scott.She volunteered her services at Ruby Memorial Hospital for several years she also was an avid WVU football and basketball fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her children Debra Bosley and husband David of Fairmont, Robert Roby and wife, Ann of Ft. Mills, SC, Gary Roby of Morrisville, NC, and David Roby of Pikeville, KY her grandchildren, William Snyder, Seth Roby and wife Rebekah, Jeremy Roby, Gary Roby, Jr. and Morgan Roby as well as one great-grandson, Jared Snyder and one great-granddaughter, Penny Roby. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Kay Chipps of Clarksburg and Gloria Crofford of Pittsburgh.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Robert Roby in 2005. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 5-8pm on Monday, February 20, and again from 10am until the 11am funeral service on Tuesday, February 21 with Rev. David White officiating. Entombment will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
