Dear Bunny, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband. I have not seen you for awhile but remember fondly the old days of working out in "step" class at Lakeview and seeing you briskly walk my old street. I also remember your daily trips to the friary and am hoping your deep trust in your faith will help you now in your time of sorrow. Fondly, Barb Gwynne

Dear Bunny, I was sad to hear of Bud's passing and know that you are very sad over the loss of your dear husband. I've already offered Masses for his repose and will continue to do so through the week. Be assured of my continued prayers. Bud was a true gentleman and friend and always had a kind word...especially after daily Mass, "Don't forget, we love you." and "De colores!" My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Father Leon

To Bunny and all the family:Although I only met Bud a few times, I knew we were all family together through Todd and Candy. I always enjoyed seeing him and am so glad I did get to know him if only a little bit. I was particularly touched reading about Bud''s life with the boy scouts. Our son David, who is seven years old, is just starting cub scouts and I really appreciate the traditions and lineage in scouting. We will carry on. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family.

I never knew Mr. Peplin, but heard about him from my daughter-in-law, Laura Nimrichter. They were friends in Morgantown. The reason we talked about him is that he and I grew up in the same neighborhood in Duluth, and he used to go to my dad's store after school, so it's very likely that I saw him in those days. I was a bit younger than him. I had always hoped to meet him some day so we could talk about our youth in Duluth. My sincere condolences to the family.

I met Bud at Todd and Candy's wedding here in Missoula, MT and I believe that is the only time I saw him. It would have been nice to have known him better. What a wonderful obituary to honor Bud. It was interesting to read about all the different organizations and events in which he was involved. It sounds like he lived a very full life. My husband, Allen, and I are so blessed to have Bud's son, Todd, as a brother-in-law and part of our family. We love you, Todd! Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Peplin family.
