Loretta McFadden, 80, of Nicholson Loop passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012, at her home with her loving family by her side.She was born June 7, 1931, in Morgantown she was the daughter of the late Plummer and Goldie Murray Dalton.Loretta was a homemaker. She enjoyed puzzles, camping, and crocheting. Loretta was known for all the good meals she cooked. Loretta also enjoyed her two talking Quaker parrots and her dog Gizmo.Loretta is survived by a son, Franklin âButchâ McFadden a daughter and spouse, Ruby and Bill Dalton, and two sons and spouses Randy âJinglesâ and Marianne McFadden and John and Kay McFadden, her special companion Alvie Blosser grandchildren, Jodie Kroger, Kelly McFadden, Davy Dalton, Miranda McFadden, Katie Mayle, Willie McFadden and Casey Summers great-grandchildren, Josh Weimer, Josh âLittle Oneâ Mayle, Camryn and Carson Kroger, Conner and Bailey McFadden, Billy and Molly Dalton one brother and spouse, Ronnie Gay and Jean Dalton of Morgantown five sisters and spouses, Fannie Davis, Alice Ann Murphy, Carrie and David Hertzog, Phyllis âPipâ and Scott Blosser, Lula Belle Woody all of Morgantown and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband, Frank McFadden a daughter Anita Summers, a brother Melvin âTinkerâ Dalton, an infant sister Lily Mae, and a sister Gladys Blosser and three brothers-in-laws.Friends and family will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church on the Summer School road on Tuesday, January 31st from 3:00p.m. until the time of the funeral service in the church on Wednesday, February 1st at 11:00a.m. with Rev. Elmer Nicholson and Rev. Jake Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Nicholson Chapel Cemetery. Donations may be made in Loretta's memory to Burns Chapel Church, c/o Wilma Burns, 2300 Summers School Road, Morgantown, WV 26508 or to Word of Life Tabernacle, 6 Nicholson Loop Road, Morgantown,WV 26508.
