John Wagner, 92, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, at his home.John was born in Masontown on May 17, 1919, the son of the late John Daniel Wagner and Marilla Deavers Wagner.John served in the Army during World War II. He was a mail carrier for the U. S. Postal Service in the Morgantown area and retired after 20 years of service. He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Ayersman and husband Douglas of Morgantown 2 brothers, Arthur Haney of Bertz and Clyde Haney of Kingwood also 1 sister, Helen Nemeck of Petersburg 9 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.He was preceeded by his wife Velma G. Wagner son, John Daniel Wagner II 1 brother James Wagner of Masontown and 3 sisters Nancy Palmisano, Sue Scott, and Carol Hamway. A graveside service will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, Pruntytown, on Wednesday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Donham officiating.
