Obituary of Juanita Everly

Juanita Griffith Everly, 87, of South Park, Morgantown left on a journey to be with her family and the Lord on August 14, 2011. She was born on April 27, 1924, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Kornick Griffith. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church. Juanita was a devoted caregiver for Bertha Crago, Ralph Demain, Walter Crago, Daisy Griffith, Elmer Griffith, Howard Griffith and Nelson Griffith. Juanita also worked at Darinkaâs Dress Shop and Kiddie Town for many years in downtown Morgantown. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her. She is survived by her two sons Albert âRodâ Everly and Scott Griffith Everly, six grandchildren Megan Marie Edwards, Laura Ann Everly, Jason Smith, Cassandra Everly, Katie Everly, and Candice Everly, four great-grandchildren, Michael, Tyre, Hayden and Gavin and ex-husband, Albert âBudâ Everly. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 3-5 & 7-9pm on Thursday, August 18, and from 9:30-10:30am on Friday, August 19. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30am on Friday with Pastor Al Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
