Obituary of Dolores Biddington

Dolores B. Biddington, 83, of Morgantown passed away Tuesday evening, July 26, 2011, at Point Manor Nursing Home.She was born on March 10, 1928 in Baltimore, MD. She was raised by her parents Roy and Catherine Berrett of Baltimore. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Dr. W. Robert Biddington DDS, former Dean of the School of Dentistry and Associate Vice-President for Health Sciences at West Virginia University.Dolores graduated from Seton Catholic High School in 1946.She enjoyed her early years as a stay at home mom raising her only son, William Berrett Biddington. She enjoyed over 50 years of marriage traveling throughout the U.S. and other countries with her husband. She was well known for her artistic ability of painting, crafts, and sewing. She cared deeply for her family and was an exceptional mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed vacationing to the Myrtle Beach, SC area with family, and spent her last years off and on at her vacation home in Ocean Isle Beach, NC before becoming ill in 2010. Dolores is survived by one son, William Berrret Biddington and his wife, Carol Mousseau Biddington of Uniontown, PA her sister Kathleen Maggio of Ellicott City, MD two grandchildren, William Marshall Biddington and his wife Jaimee Beth Biddington of Morgantown, WV and Matthew Scott Biddington of Conway, SC and one great-grandson, William Robert Biddington of Morgantown, WV. Friends and Family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street, Morgantown, WV on Friday, July 29 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11am on Saturday, July 30, at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Star City Entombment will follow at St. Maryâs Peace Gardens Mausoleum.
