Elizabeth Sarah âLibbyâ Reseter, 89, of Walnut Hill Rd., Morgantown and formerly of Dentâs Run Rd., Morgantown, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2011 at home with her family and kind and loving caregiver of three years, Loretta Maestle, present..Libby was born in Fairmont on March 8, 1922, the daughter of the late Joseph Ray and Effie Laura Clapper Fisher.Survivors include her four children, Polly Ann (Reseter) and husband John Kovalcheck and Nancy Jean (Reseter) and husband Fred E. Smith all of Granville, Pete Reseter, Sr. of Stevenson, WA and Mary Elizabeth (Reseter) Warsewich of Morgantown six grandchildren, John David Kovalcheck of Granville, Steven Kovalcheck and wife Andrea Nicole of Laurel Point, Lynn A. Smith of Morgantown, Michael R. Smith and wife Robyn D. of Granville, Aubrey L. (Warsewich) Curotz and husband Guy of Clarksburg, and Jeffrey S. Warsewich and wife Karen Ann of Granville, and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Rester, Sr. three brother, Everette, George and Ray Fisher and two sisters, Lelia (Fisher) Cook and Mae (Fisher) McIe.Libby was a member of St. Maryâs Orthodox Church of Westover as well as itâs Womenâs Guild, and the West Mon Senior Center. She was a past member of the Granville Senior Center. She enjoyed bowling with the Senior League at Sycamore Lanes in Westover on Monday and Thursday mornings, and was an avid reader.Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Sunday, May 8th from 4-8 PM. A Panachida will be recited at 7:30 PM Sunday in the funeral home to conclude the evening visitation.On Monday, May 9th, Mrs. Reseter will be moved to St. Maryâs Orthodox Church, 19 West Park Ave., Westover where visitation will continue from 9 AM until the time of the Divine Liturgy at 10 AM with Reverend Father Matthew Stagon officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
