Fred A. Bosley, 72, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his residence.Fred was born in Morgantown on February 5, 1939, the son of the late James L. and Helen J. Flowers Bosley.He previously attended Hagans United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Morgantown. Fred loved taking his grandchildren hunting and fishing with him. He also was good at giving advice. He worked at Bauers Lumber for over 20 years and the Winding Ridge for another 20 years and was famous for his special hot dog sauce. He was the greatest man who ever lived and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Leanna Bosley, his children Debbie Haley and husband, James, Donna M. Tennant and husband, Floyd, Connie Barnett and husband, Greg, Katherine D. Johnson, Rebekah A. Poling, and Fred Allen Bosley II, his grandchildren, Tammy Kay Lemley, Brian Keith Tennant and wife, Shorty, Sarah N. Barnett, Melissa D. Johnson, Sarah M. Johnson, Timmy Poling, Eugene Poling, Fred Allen Bosley III, Allen Bosley, Justin Bosley Kaya Bosley, Little Rosalie Martin, Little Danny Snyder and Deanna Ware, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, a sister, Kay Sadilik as well nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Albert Allen Bosley, Danny Paul Snyder, his siblings James Bosley and Healen Rich. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Wednesday, April 13 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday, from 10-11am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11am with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
