Dear Mrs. Prunty and Leslie, I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Prunty passing ... I have very, very fond memories of him coaching Posty Trucking Fast Pitch Softball. I am saddened ... I regret not keeping in touch, but I've thought of him often. Reading his obituary was so surreal ... very tearful. Mr. Prunty was a good friend and I'll always love him.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I knew him well from my days in Community Band South where I played Alto Saxaphone. He was always there to get whatever was needed for the band at any given time. He is now looking over the rest of us and is no longer suffering.May God bless all of the Prunty family during this time of loss.

Mrs. Prunty, Steve, Dave and Leslie - I am very sorry to hear that Mr. Prunty had died. It is hard to imagine that someone you've known for so long is gone. Mr. Prunty made an indelible impression on me growing up and I was lucky that our families and the Paynes stayed in Bethel for so long. I was also fortunate to be part of our fantasy football league, though how fortunate I was, I don't know, since Mr. Prunty beat me over and over again. In fact, that goes for most of the Prunty Family! I appreciate all the time I spent with Mr. Prunty - on the band trips, playing games in the Prunty Basement - and he always had a look of wry amusement. I think he really enjoyed his life and his family. He was a great person, approachable and caring and we were all better for his presence. I'm sure he is in heaven now, probably figuring out his draft and thinking of his family. Best to all in this challenging time. Sincerely, the Orbin Family.

Susie and Family - I was very sorry to read of Bill's passing. Sincerest condolences from Pam and I. I haven't seen you or Bill for many years but will always remember both of you. I first met you both in the early 60's when Chuck and I were terrorizing Stealey. Bill always found time for the two of us. He would take us to run and errand or just to throw some kind of ball around. Once before we went to some kind of Jr. Hi dance he taught me to tie a Windsor knot in my tie. I still use it. Once when we were in Jr. Hi he took us out to his parents' place in Ritchie Co. We rode horses and he showed us where he worked and graduated from High School. Back in 1993 we moved from Shinnston to Doddridge Co. and we live on Oxford Rd. One day my wife, Pam, and I took Oxford Rd over toward Pullman and as we passed the house I remembered it. Small world! Pam sometimes rides to work with Stephanie Knight who lives there now. Again, I am very sorry for your loss and will keep you in my prayers. Bill was one of the good ones!

"Bud" and all, my sympathy is with you in your loss. I remember you from oh so long ago, back when I was an elementary school girl. I attended Farm Women's Club Meetings with my mom at your mom's house. I remember her as a kind and softspoken woman, and such a good cook. May God bless all of you in the days ahead with peace and comfort, as you hold onto the memories of a life so well lived. Thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Briana (Corathers) Harden
