Angelo Todesko, 90, of Morgantown, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Heritage Nursing Home in Bridgeport.Angelo was born in Brownsville, PA on July 24, 1920, the son of the late Pete and Frances Todesko.He served in the US Army during World War II. He was a life member of the VFW Post 548.He was formerly employed with the Monongahela Railroad Company where he had over 35 years of service and retired in 1982.He is survived by his wife, Maxine Knotts Todesko, a son, Michael Todesko and wife, Catherine of Arthurdale, two daughters, Rebecca Lesnett and husband, James of Bluefield, Brenda Sims and husband, George of Morgantown, his grandchildren James Lesnett and wife, Kristen, Angela Myers and husband, Aaron, Michael Lesnett and wife, Kaitlyn, Joseph Todesko and fiancée Lauren Schaffer, great-grandchildren Ava Grace and Jackson Lesnett, Trey and Troy Hamilton, Kayden Myers, and Elizabeth and Allison Sims. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Todesko, Jr., a step-brother and four step-sisters. Friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 1-3pm on Monday, March 14. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 3pm Monday, with Pastor Dan Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover where Full Military Honors will be accorded at the graveside.
