Robert L. "Shike" Clark, 82, of Easton passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at his residence.âShikeâ was born on March 12, 1928, in Easton, a son of the late Oath and Sarah Frances Robinson Clark.He served in the U.S. Army from October 1950-July 1952 during the Korean War. âShikeâ was a self-employed truck driver. He hauled for General Paving, Dipple & Dipple and Greer Limestone to name a few before retiring from Patriot Coal. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering with trucks and of course the flea market.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lelia Azalea Watkins Clark, his children Robert (Bobby) L. Clark and wife, Carol of Morgantown, Daniel (Danny) L. Clark and wife, Marsha of Morgantown, Susan M. Nolan and Keith Nolan of Arthurdale, Barbara E. Buzzo and husband, Tim of Morgantown, Allen W. (Big Al) Clark of Morgantown, and Darwin T. (Teddy) Clark and Mary Clark of Morgantown, grandchildren Jennifer Shanor, Tara Jo Clark, Heather Clark, Heath Clark, Richie Nolan, Zachary Nolan, Casey Buzzo, Emily Buzzo, Stone Clark, Quintin Clark, Mackenzie Thompson, 4 great-grandchildren, his sisters Kay Stankos and husband, Thomas of FL, Choctaw (Maryann) Phelps of St. Peter, MO, Dorothy Garcia and husband, Tony of Point Marion, PA, and Rebecca (Becky) Cato and husband, Richard of Morgantown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth T. (Dempsey) Clark. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, from 7-9pm on Sunday, March 13, from 4-8pm on Monday, March 14, and from 9:30-10:30am on Tuesday, March 15. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30am with Rev. Kevin Cain officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Union Cemetery, Morgantown.
