When I was a child of around 8 or so and living in Morgantown, Ed and Elva gave me two books that have great meaning in my life, helping to expose me to the mysteries of the heavens and the earth. The first was a Bible that I have with me to this day, living in Brooklyn, 22 or so years later. I cherish it. The second one was a VERY large National Geographic World Atlas, which was almost as big as me when I was given it. That book made me realize just how much there was out there to see and I remember looking through it, dreaming of all those places shown and hoping to see them some day. I have seen some and will see more in the future, and that book inspired my passion for travel. I thank them both for that. While it has been some time since I last saw Ed, I have always had a special place in my heart for him and I am deeply saddened by his passing. But I know that he is now with Elva, looking down, and there is comfort in that. Thank you, Ed.My condolences to the family.
