Robert âBobâ Emmett Davis, Jr. age 82, beloved husband of the late Georgia Lee Harbert Davis, died Thursday, December 23, 2010.Born February 25, 1928 in Morgantown, WV, Mr. Davis was a son of the late Robert Emmett Davis, Sr. and Katherine Madden Davis Richards. He was a 62 year member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union #152 in Morgantown, WV where he was a past president and recording secretary. Mr. Davis was also a member of the 3rd Degree Assembly #1655 and 4th Degree Council #6096 with the Knights of Columbus. He was awarded the Golden Knight of the Year in 2005 from the Father Maurice R. Daley Assembly. He was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.Mr. Davis is survived by two daughters, Michaeleen Davis of Boiling Springs, SC and Catherine Elizabeth âLibbyâ Livengood, and her husband, Lee of Morgantown, WV and a grandson, Zachary Livengood. He was predeceased by two brothers, John Daniel âJackâ Davis and Charles Phillip Davis.Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce Street Morgantown, Wednesday, Dec. 29 from 4-8p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, Dec. 30 at St. Mary Catholic Church from 10-11a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. with Fr. John V. DiBacco as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens
