Our condolences got to your family. Joe was one of the first people we met at the baseball field when we moved to Morgantown. we spent much time behind the backstop of the First Ward field analyzing the calls of Umps. I am sorry for the passing of Joe. I have many fond memories of working with Joe at the Eagles Club in Morgantown. He was a great friend and truly interested in helping others. He will be missed by many. Warmest regards to his family.

Such warm childhood memories of time spent in that home. There was always laughter, joy, and kids running around. A home of comfort. It's been an honor to have been part of this man's life, even though it's been too many years since I have visited. We would like to send our deepest sympathy to the McArdle family. Joe will always be special in our hearts for the love that he showed to our Son Mike. Mike played ball for Joe and Joe believed in giving all kids the chance to play. He not only was a coach to Mike, but he bacame his friend. Every summer when they met at BOPARC he always would give Mike a big hug. I know that Joe is special to our family for his big heart and the love that he had for the kids. It only takes one person sometimes to build a kid up so they can feel like they are worth something and Joe was good at that. As a parent I am glad that my Son got the chance to build a friendship with a guy like Joe. May God Bless the McArdle family and my prayer is that Joe gets his reward in heaven for the love that he has showed on earth.
