Obituary of Helen Teets

Helen Marie Teets, 98, of Friendship Manor, Morgantown passed away Friday, November 5, 2010 ,at Sundale Nursing Home.Helen was born in Cuzzart, WV on July 2, 1922 the daughter of the late Ray and Susan Feather.She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.Helen worked at the Coleshire Pajama Factory and Billâs Laundry and cleaners. She is survived by one son, Marvin E. Teets and wife, Charlotte. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Freda Teets of Cuzzart nieces, Christel Haworth of North Caroline, Barbara Hobday and Patty Sutherland of Morgantown and nephew, Larry Teets of Cuzzart.She was preceded in death by her husband Junior Reed Teets in 1988. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 8 from 7-9p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, Nov. 9 from 10:00a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00a.m.with Pastor Lynn Keener officiating. Burial will follow in East Oak Grove Cemetery.
