Ada Lucille McDonald, 80, of McDonald Lane, Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at her residence.Lucille was born in Morgantown on April 2, 1930, the daughter of the late George and Margie Murray Nicholson.She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Nicholson Chapel Church. She was a friend to everyone she met. She adored and was adored by her kids, grandkids and great grandkids.She is survived by one son and spouse, Dallas âJoeâ and Debbie McDonald four daughters and spouses, Beulah and George Murray, Gaylene and Keith Sanders, Diane and Donnie Cress, Dinah âNipâ and Bob Robinson a daughter-in-law, Linda McDonald three brothers and spouses, Rev. Elmer âScoopâ and Mildred Nicholson, Rev. Francis âJakeâ Nicholson, Billy and Shirley Nicholson two sisters, Arlene Gaspar and Mearl McDonald, a brother-in-law, Gene Dalton, 32 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren all of Morgantown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John McDonald, her son, Delmas McDonald, four brothers Virgil, Willard, Vernis and Millard âTomâ Nicholson, two sisters, Georgie Nicholson and Clarice âSisâ Dalton. Hastings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Friends will be received at Nicholson Chapel Church on Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 2pm until the time of the funeral service at 1pm on Sunday, September 26, with Rev. David Hilling and Rev. Elmer âScoopâ Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at Nicholson Chapel Cemetery.
