Kenna J. Weaver, 71, of Tyrone Rd., Morgantown, passed away Monday, September 20, 2010, at his residence.Kenna was born on August14, 1939, the son of the late Gilbert R. and Martha L. Brown Weaver. He was a member of Cheat Lake United Methodist Church. He was a 1958 graduate of University High School, attended West Virginia University, and graduated with a degree from Morgantown Business College. After graduation he went into business with his father at South Side Lumber Co., of which he later became owner and operator, along with Morgantown Hardware. He also owned and operated Morgantown Brick, Sand Springs Camping Area, and other local endeavors. Kenna loved the outdoors, camping, and traveling, especially trips to Florida with his family in the winter. He also enjoyed annual fall trips to Canada with friends.He was a member of the Morgantown Wireless Association, the Triple States Amateur Radio Club, the ARRL, the National Association for Amateur Radio and the Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge #4 of Morgantown.He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Adams Weaver two daughters, Kimberly Ann Weaver and husband Jack Scheer of Silver Springs, MD, and Michele Renee Wilcox and husband Lee of Colorado Springs, CO and his grandchildren, Trevor Lee, Alexis Nicole and Chase Raymond Wilcox along with several cousins.He was predeceased by his parents.Friends and family will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown on Friday, September 24, 2010, from 1 PM â" 3PM and 6 PM - 8 PM, and again on Saturday, September 25, 2010, from 12 PM until the time of the service at 1 PM with Pastor Michael Rowe officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Cemetery, Cheat Lake.",164383
