Obituary of Carolyn Bost

Carolyn A. Bost, 79, of Callen Ave., Morgantown, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010, at her residence.Carolyn was born in Morgantown on August 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Ira J. Price and the late Dorothy Dorrell Price.She was a lifetime member of Spruce Street United Methodist Church where she was a longtime member of the choir as well as a member of the Ruth Circle, Out for Fun Girls, and the United Methodist Women.She loved the outdoors, flowers and gardening and was a member of the Durbannah Garden Club. She is survived by her sons James Bost, Jr. and Gary Bost and wife, Sussana, three step-grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Jean Cavallaro and husband, Sam, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Bost, Sr. and a brother, Joe Price. Family and friends will be received at Hastings Funeral Home, 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, WV on Wednesday, September 15, from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Visitation will continue at Spruce St. United Methodist on Thursday, September 16, from 9-10am. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday morning in the church with Rev. Dr. John E. Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Westover.
