Cosby Van Horn, 81, of Morgantown, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, at her residence.She was born April 13, 1929 in Arlington, WV the daughter of the late John S. and Mabel R. Potts.She was a member of the MorgantownFirst Church of The Nazarene. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Business and Professional Womenâs Club. Cosby was a former employee of First National Bank of Morgantown, Vecchio, Badger& Co., Morgantown Printing and Binding Co., West Virginia University and Moore Business Forms.Surviving are her husband of 29 years Harold K. Van Horn of Morgantown one daughter, Frances H. âFraniâ Reger and her husband John E. âJackâ of Chagrin Falls, OH two step-sons Charles âChuckâ Van Horn and his wife Edie of Grafton, WV and Steve Van Horn and his wife Jo also from Grafton, WV her sister-in- law Helen Potts of Bridgeport, WV two granddaughters, Julie R. Dygert and her husband Rob of Dallas, TX, Holly E. Pape of Northfield Center, OH four step-grandchildren, Hollie Summers and her husband, Frank of Grafton, WV, Hayley Wyckoff and her husband Eric of Grafton, WV, Stacey Van Horn of Grafton and James âJimmieâ Van Horn of Grafton and five great- grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her brother J,R. Potts and one step-son Donald Lake. Family and friends will be received at Hasting Funeral Home 153 Spruce St., Morgantown, on Monday, July 26 from 4-8.pm and on Tuesday, July 27 from 10-11a.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Lynn Keener and Rev. Mike Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at the Rock Cave Cemetery in Rock Cave, WV.
