Dear Aunt Nancy, Uncle Bill, cousin Melody and the Gwillam family and relatives,We want all of you to know how saddened we are about the passing of our cousin Tim Allen on June 21. It is very painful for us to know TIM is no longer with us to share his music 'with an attitude', his cool jokes, and his unique sense of humour. May you find solace and peace in his memory and unique musical style. 40 years of life is so short. We will burn a candle in Tim's memory at our Catholic church on Sunday morning. Dear Cousins Bill, Nancy and Melody, I met you back in 1998 when I came to Morgantown with cousins John Hunt and his daughter Rene Therrien from Seattle. You opened your home and hearts. Tim gave me a ride in his white Corvette, which he obviously was very proud to own, as well as a tour of his recording studio. His enthusiam for music was wonderful to see, and somewhere, I still have the "Burnt" records sampler that he gave to me! Bill and Nancy, you made us a hearty breakfast of buckwheat pancakes, but more importantly your family impressed us with your kindness. Melody, I always enjoyed getting your postcards from your travels. I am so saddened to hear of Tim''s death. I hope that you will be surrounded by love and healing from family and friends during this difficult time. I am honored to make a donation in Tim''s name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
